Analysis – Handicap debut today and steps up in trip to 1m4f after winning on most recent start over 1m2f at Windsor. Has yet to run on ground softer than good-to-firm on the turf but was narrowly beaten on Wolverhampton’s tapeta surface so this shouldn’t pose too much of a problem. James Doyle boasts a 32% strike-rate when teaming up with William Haggas and this filly holds a Group 1 entry next month so clearly is thought quite highly by connections.

Analysis – This colt is quite highly thought of in this yard after winning a maiden on debut under today’s pilot Oisin Murphy they pitched him straight into Group 3 company when competing in the Greenham at Newbury over this 7f trip. He was beaten just over a length and the form of that race continues to look good with Expert Eye winning two Group 3’s since and James Garfield going very close in a Group 1 in Deauville. Latest effort in 2000 Guineas was again a good effort when possibly not seeing out the mile trip so the drop back down to 7f will suit and connections have been waiting for the ground to soften. He arrives here the freshest horse after a 113-day break and receives weight-for-age allowance which gives him a great chance despite being the most inexperienced of the runners.
