Todays Racing Tip – OAKIDOAKI
Time & Track – 2.00 LINGFIELD (TUESDAY)
Best Odds – 14-1
Analysis – 2m4 Novice h’cap chase class 4 0-105 on soft ground with 14 fences to jump. The one I’ve gone for is yet to jump a fence and only had 7 career runs 2 NH flat races and 5 hurdles. He’s had 2 runs in h’cap hurdles off 105 & 102 today runs off 100 after finishing a good 3rd at Fontwell beaten only 10L over 2m4. Interesting he goes straight into h’cap chases with B.Powell Jnr riding for B.Powell Snr. He was beaten 50L last time out but that was 3m this drop back to 2m4 will suit him far better 14-1 looks reasonable ew value in a very weak contess.

Todays Racing Tip – MASTER RAJEEM
Time & Track – 1.20 SEDGEFIELD (TUESDAY)
Best Odds – 10-1
Analysis – A class 4 0-115 3m2 h’cap chase on good/soft with 21 fences to jump. The one I like at 10-1 is a bit of a course specialist having won 5 times 2 Nh flat 1 hurdle and 2 chases with 3 of those wins coming here including 1 over CD. His course form reads 1-2-2-1-2-8-1-4-2 with the 8th coming over 2m3 a trip way too short for him off 122 today off just 99. His CD win came off 113 he also has a 3lb claimer riding today and back over fences having run at Hexham over hurdles on seasonal debut after 8 months off.

Todays Racing Tip – STONEBOAT BILL (NAP)
Time & Track – 1.50 SEDGEFIELD (TUESDAY)
Best Odds – 10-1 4 places (tho 11-1 AVAILABLE)
Analysis – He’s a 1m2 winner on the flat off 61 who hasn’t taken too well to hurdling as he pulls way too hard and finishes very weakly, well that’s whats happened in his novice runs. At Market Rasen he bolted with his jockey and blew up 2out when ridden by Paddy Brennan. Then 2 runs ago at Wetherby he ran at 100-1 behind the very impressive Kalashnikov beaten 55L no disgrace in that. Last time I almost him up as a selection which isn’t something I normally do in novices but the 25-1 that he was looked too big, he went off at just 8-1 and although initially settled in he soon took hold and went clear. Still travelling well turning for home he did look like he may hang on but caught by the last he stayed on to be 4th beaten 8L. I said then he needed a 2m h’cp next time off a mark around 105-110 well he got 104 so provided R.Dunne can get him to settle he could be a snip in this race BUT it’s all down to how he settles and hope he doesn’t bolt off from the front with this up hill finish.

Todays Racing Tip – ROXYFET
Time & Track – 3.20 SEDGEFIELD (TUESDAY)
Best Odds – 20-1
Analysis – Class 5 0-100 h’cap chase over 2m with 13 fences to jump. Trainer Micky Hammond who is enjoying a good season runs 2 here the bottom weight Rhythm of Sound who won last time out 8 days ago and CD winner Roxyfet who is ridden by 5lb claimer F.O’Toole. The selection Roxyfet is an 8 times winner 1 hurdle and 7 chases with wins off 80-85-98-100-107 since joing Micky H from france in Dec 2014. With 4 of those 5 wins coming here on good/soft – heavy going all with Finnian O’Toole riding him so although his stablemate is better fancied and has stable jockey riding I don’t read anything into that as FO’T always rides him anyway. Today he runs off just 84 having been a head 2nd over Cd in March of 95 and his last run is very easily ignored as it was class 4 and over 2m5 a trip he’s never done any good over. His form is clear he’s a 2miler and no more. The short priced fav has won 3 on the bounce and 4 since going back to hurdles in August but he goes back chasing off an 8lb higher mark than when last trying fences and was beaten 39L not sure I’d want to take 11-8 though I’m sure plenty will.
