Todays Racing Tip – HOLIDAY MAGIC
Time & Track – 2.00 ASCOT
Best Odds – 16-1
Analysis – We’ve done him the last twice he’s run, both times over 6F which I though he looked like he needed on turf. He’s won 4 of 20 career races all
4 on the AW 2 at 7F and 2 at 8F. Three of those wins have been in h’caps off marks of 75-78-84 his new h’cap mark for turf is 6lb below the one that
he ran in the Ayr Bronze Cup off, so with the booking of Jamie Spencer looking ideal for this hold up grey I’m hoping the return to 7F will see him
run better.

Todays Racing Tip – PALAWAN
Time & Track – 4.20 ASCOT
Best Odds – 25-1
Analysis – I did him at Royal Ascot where he was drawn on the wrong side as the result turned out. He finished 17th of 28 that day and has since run
4th at Salisbury on a soft surface. He was disappointing last time at Newbury when 13th of 16 but he did have first time hood that day which is
left off here, so it maybe that this was the reason for such a poor run. He’s now down 4lb on his Ascot run so for me is over priced as the outsider
of the whole field.
Result – Placed +4
Todays Racing Tip – CROSS FIRE
Time & Track – 8.20 NEWCASTLE
Best Odds – 33-1
Analysis – He’s without doubt an AW specialist with ALL 5 career wins coming over Southwells 5F trip. He’s 0/12 on turf as a result his h’cap mark
is 15lb higher on AW than that on turf. Having said that he’s now back down to his last winning mark on the AW(85) and as a result takes a drop
in class on the AW. His last few runs have been in Class 2 or 3 company off marks into the 90’s on the AW as opposed to Class 5 on turf off just
70. His career form in Class 4 h’caps over 5F on the AW reads 1-4-5-1-3-1 that makes 33-1 look way over priced!!

Todays Racing Tip – ST GREGORY
Time & Track – 4.45 HEXHAM
Best Odds – 7-1
Analysis – We did this one last time when a 4L 2nd over 3miles at 20-1 at Perth. He’s yet to win over hurldes but is a course winner over this
trip but over fences that win was just over 2 years ago and is 1 of just 2 runs here at Hexham. The other was over hurldes over CD when last
of 10 but was his first ever run in a h’cap hurdle. He wasn’t straight forward at Perth last time so it might be that he’s a play in running
as he does get ridden early in the race. He has the hat-trick seeking Mad Money to beat here(6/5fav) but both his last 2 wins were in chases
and he’s 0/14 over hurdles including plenty of runs of lower marks so does make me think he’s vulnerable.
