Time & Track – 1.30 CHELTENHAM
Best Odds – 25/1 General
Analysis – He’s been mixing with the best handicappers over both hurdles and fences for the last couple of seasons. He’s run well at all the last 2=3 festivals
again over both codes and again not beaten that far come the finish. He’s not won since March 2015 when he won at Ascot off 144, today he runs off
142 or 135 once jockeys 7lb claim accounted for. He’s only had 21 career races so as an 8yo he’s certainly not been over exerted and no fewer than
8 of those 21 runs have been here at Cheltenham. He’s finished 8/18- F/6- 2/3- 13/23- 2/4- 4/16- 8/24- 8/17, the 8/18 was behind Vautour in the Grade
1 Supreme beaten just 11L, his last run 8th of 17 beaten 26L was his biggest margin of defeat. In all his 21 races to date he’s yet to run a poor race
so 33-1 ew looks a nice EW bet.

Todays Racing Tips – ANTEROS
Time & Track – 2.40 CHELTENHAM
Best Odds – 10-1 Betway 9/1 General
Analysis – A runway winner for us at a massive 33-1 at the last meeting here, a repeat of that run again here over the slightly shorter trip would
surely see him go close even under a 7lb rise in the ratings. Paul Townend who gave him a sublime ride last time again takes the ride here. That
was a Class 1 where the top rated was 149 today is a Class 2 where top rated in just 142 so a significant ease in Class as well. As a result of
his rise and the slight drop in grade he has a stone more on his back here over a shorter trip on quicker ground, but he has won twice on good
ground and the ease of his victory another stone that day wouldn’t have stopped him. I did however have a dilemma as I do like the 40-1 about Dragons
Den, I think that is overpriced and if it wasn’t for Anteros in the race I would be tipping him up at 40-1.

Time & Track – 3.15 CHELTENHAM
Best Odds – 33/1 Betfair Sportsbook 28/1 General
Analysis – A competitive 2m h’cap which had me having to make a choice again between 2. I liked the look of the outsider of the field Hill Fort 33-1
and he was my original choice for this race, but on reflection this grade might just be too tough for him so I’ve opted for the other one. A 4yo
who finished 5th at the Festival here in March in the Fred Winter hurdle, who then went on to Aintree to run in Aplle Jades race. This season in
3 runs he’s not exactly reached those heights but his last run was after a 4 month break so he’d be expected to improve for it. His previous run
was in the classy Summer Hurdle at Market Rasen so with those 2 runs behind him and a 5lb drop in the ratings as a result he comes here now off
a 3lb lower mark than for that excellent Cheltenham run.

Todays Racing Tips – THE DOORMAN
Time & Track – 2.50 DONCASTER
Best Odds – 25/1 Bet Victor / Coral
Analysis – I’ve stuck with this one after he was a NR for us on Sunday at Huntingdon. Again the trip is near 2m4 which looks ideal as does the
good ground. The slight difference here to Sundays race is the slight rise in Class from 0-110 to 0-115 h’cap as a result he’s gone from top
weight to having 5 horses rated above him.
