Analysis - A Class 6 2mile h'cap where the top weights are all getting towards the veteran stage whilst the one I like only ran 3 days ago on the AW at Wolverhampton a surface where he is 0/18 now back on turf 1/5. That win was a Class 4 1m2 h'cap at Newmarket off 64, he won by an easy 5L going right away he got put up 9lb for that win to 73. This was only July 2016 so as a 4yo now running off just 50 with first time tongue tie on he looks to have been found a real golden opportunity of winning again under talented apprentice Hollie Doyle(3).
Todays Racing Tip - BROTHER TIGER
Time & Track - 3.40 LINGFIELD
Best Odds - 12/1
Analysis - A class 4 5f h'cap for 71-85 rated sprinters, the one I like is a 3x CD winner and a 4th career Lingfield win over 6F plus another 5F win at Chelmsford and a 6F turf win at Redcar on debut. Those 3 wins over CD were off marks of 75-79-82 so todays mark of 77 looks very appealing as does the booking of former champion jockey SDS. His last win in Feb 2016 was off 87 so now a full 10lb below that mark and back to 5F after 2 runs at 6 will suit him much better. Stall 2 looks ideal I think its fair to say better is expected than his last 4 runs where he has only beaten 5 of his 45 rivals.

Analysis - We have done him before when he was 6th of 14 at Ffos Las in Class 4 company off 108, now in Class 5 company off 100. He's won 3 times all in h'cap company off 96-110-114 and reached a career hi mark of 127. This is his first run in Class 5 since May 2013 when he was a neck 2nd of 13 at Worcester, since then he's had 29 runs all in class 2-3-4. He's running here on the back of a 158 dya break but we know the stable is having winners as they won Saturdays feature chase at Sandown the Bet365 Gold Cup. Apart from top weight Prince Mahler nothing else has any recent to form to boast about and PM himself is now 13lb higher than the first of those wins and 6lb higher than his 2L win at Taunton last week plus dropping back 3F which may not suit him as he only got on top late on.
