Analysis - Henry Oliver has a 67% strike-rate when sending his chasers up to Catterick and he has a good chance of adding to that with this eight-year old. He improved on a second at Sedgefield (3m2f) by winning over that same track and trip the next day (both on soft) and after a short break he ran well enough for fourth off an 8lb higher mark. The handicapper has eased him a pound for that which leaves him only 2lb above his highest winning perch and if improving on that recent outing I’d like to think he holds solid claims with Brian Hughes, has been on board for those last three outings, keeping the ride.
