Analysis – Arrives here after three solid efforts in defeat with the last couple of them coming from this mark of 78. Two of those runs came over a mile-and-a-half and sandwiched in between them was when beaten a length by a subsequent winner over this mile-and-three-quarters trip in this grade. His latest outing was in a higher grade where he finished second and the form of that race took a boost when the fourth horse won next time out. There’s no reason why he can’t be competitive here off the same mark in this lower grade and this softer ground will suit him more than any having gained his only success (which came at this course) on heavy going along with three placed efforts on the forecasted soft ground.
