Analysis – Rattled up a five-timer back in 2016 with four wins in novice hurdles before landing a listed event at Market Rasen on handicap debut from a mark of 129 over this trip. He’s yet to add to that tally but has been facing stronger opposition and has subsequently dropped to a mark 3lb lower than that listed win. This six-year old was beaten two-lengths the last day in a class 2 over slightly further so the drop in trip/grade will suit and the ground is perfect for him so a big run is expected for a yard who just can’t stop having winners (45% in past fortnight).

Analysis – Changed hands from Dan Skelton to Rebecca Menzies at the end of February and has ran well in four starts for this new yard with the last three coming over three-miles when seemingly not seeing out the trip. He’s now dropped back to the extended two-and-a-half miles, the same distance for his only chase success to date which came at Uttoxeter from this mark of 117 which he runs off today. The addition of first-time cheekpieces could be the key to gaining a second chase success and he’s worth a punt at the odds.
