Analysis – This three-year old colt may only have won a maiden at Tipperary back in May of last year but has run some decent races since. He was beaten by a half-length in the Coventry Stakes over this six-furlong trip before running another good race again ij Group 2 company at the Curragh when third. The step up to a mile in this year’s 2000 Guineas found him out but he travelled well from the front for a long way and this drop back in trip will suit. He’s shown a liking to quick ground so should go well in listed company here for strong connections.

Analysis – Was quite highly tried over hurdles and won a Group 3 on handicap debut when winning off a mark of 127. He’s won a coupemof times over in France in soft ground but did go close on good ground on only previous course visit last year when beaten six-lengths off 1lb lower in the listed Summer Cup. Dropped back into class 3 company here he must have a chance having put in another fine effort from a 1lb higher mark in Market Rasen’s Summer Plate, again on good ground. The Skelton yard are in good form and another good run can be expected from this nine-year old.
