Best Odds – 7/1 Paddy Power/Betfred/Betfair Sportsbook
Analysis – This is one I’ve been following for a little while now. His last run was a little unlucky as when he tried to make a run at the start of the home straight he ran into the back of the wall of horses in front and had to sit and wait for 1/2 furlong before getting a gap. By the time the gap appeared the race was over and his 7lb claimer rider Rhiain Ingram allowed him to coast home. His course form at Chelmsford is by far his best form with a win over CD in Class 4 company last November off a 9lb higher mark than todays. He also has a close up 4th over 8F here again in Class 4, today is a Class 6 0-60. His run style does suggest a little luck in the run is required as he always held up in rear and deliberately taken there from the gates. My biggest worry is the 5 3yo’s in the race as even at this late stage of the season they still get a 5lb weight for age allowance.
Today’s Result : Placed 3rd (8/1 BOG) +.6
Today’s Racing Tip – PLYMOUTH SOUND
Time & Track – 4.40 SALISBURY
Best Odds – 6/1 Coral/Bet Victor/William Hill/Paddy Power
Annalysis – He was an eye catching staying on 3rd last time out at Kempton on his first attempt at this 12F trip. He was still travelling well in behind the leaders all the way up the straight and only got going once the first 2 had gone clear. This stiffer track may well suit him better as his only career win came here over 6F on good/firm ground, he also boasts a close 3rd on his only other run here that was over 8F when beaten just over 1L. He’s now 7lb below that last run here at Salisbury and with the stable having 5 winners in the last 14 days they are bang in form.
Today’s Results : Placed 2nd (14/1 BOG) +1.8
Today’s Racing Tip – TOLEDO GOLD
Time & Track – 4.50 SEDGEFIELD
Best Odds – 20/1 Betfair Sportsbook 16/1 Bet Victor/Paddy Power
Analysis – Better known as a chaser with 5 of his 7 career wins coming over the larger obstacles. His last win was just over a year ago off a mark of 120 over 2m at Cartmel today he races off just 90 the same mark as his only hurdle win back in 2012 when he made all to win at Carlisle. He returned to hurdles 2 races ago running well at Market Rasen before again running with promise last time at Southwell in a Class 4 0-110 h’cap so todays drop in grade to Class 5 0-100 will help. His last 4 career wins have been with a hood on and tongue tie, the hood has been left off on his last 4 runs but he runs with 1st time cheek pieces and 5lb claimer D.Bourke riding who has ridden him before.
