Analysis – This nine-year old returns from a summer break from a pound lower than when down the field in a listed handicap at Ayr back in April. He goes well fresh having won on reappearance over C&D last year and followed that up with victory in this same race off a 4lb lower mark, making it 3/3 course victories. He’s back on the same mark as when beaten half-a-length over this extended 2m at Doncaster just three starts ago (in March) and this looks an easier assignment given top-weight Sizing Platinum might find this on the short side on return, he should go well under Sam Twiston-Davies who is 5/7 on the gelding.
