Today’s Horse Racing Tips
Todays Racing Tip – TELL ME ALL
Time & Track – 1.25 Ayr (21/09)
Best Odds – 9/2 @ Bet365
Stake – 1pt win
Analysis – Not often that Sir Mark Prescott send his horses up to Ayr and when he does they usually run well especially those in recent years (5/9 in last five seasons). This two-year old makes his nursery debut today off a mark which looks manageable considering he was beaten just over a length in second last time out behind a horse that ran very well in the Group 3 Solario Stakes next time. He’d previously won well over the extended 7f at Beverley when staying on well through the line so they step up to 1m should suit on that evidence and Colin Keane is an interesting jockey booking on the back of a double at Dundalk last night.

Todays Racing Tip – MYSTERY POWER
Time & Track – 2.55 Newbury (21/09)
Best Odds – 11/4 @ Bet365
Stake – 1pt win
Analysis – If forgiven his run at Goodwood the last day then this two-year old looks a strong contender for this Group 2. He was well beaten by the mightily impressive Pinatubo that day and he’d previously won his two other starts, including the Group 2 Superlative Stakes at Newmarket. They drop him back to 6f for the first time and he has to concede 3lb to all but one rival, 5lb to the filly Shadn who I think should go well too, but I do think he might just be good enough to do so here with Ryan Moore taking over the reigns.

Todays Racing Tip – CERTAIN LAD
Time & Track – 4.25 Ayr (21/09)
Best Odds – 11/2 @ Bet365
Stake – 1pt win
Analysis – Had raced mainly over 1m prior to his last two putings when stepped up to this 1m2f trip and this has brought about improvement, including when second behind a previous winner just last week at Doncaster. He’s on an unchanged mark and gets his weight-for-age allowance which is a bonus. This gelding was a listed winner in France last year and also finished second in a Curragh Group 2 behind two now rated 107, so has some strong form and is capable of winning off 98 on that evidence. Ben Curtis is 1-1-4-2 on him and is Mick Channon’s only runner on the day, making the long trip up from Berkshire.
Result – Won +2.75
